Privacy Policy

Effective October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ATWN LLC, doing business as AltairPOS ("AltairPOS," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit altairpos.com or contact us about point-of-sale hardware and payment processing services.

Information we collect

When you fill out our contact form we collect the details you enter: first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, business name, industry, whether you already have an AltairPOS account, and your annual revenue range. If you email or call us, we keep the information you share in that conversation.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, and IP address. We use this only to operate and secure the site.

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry and provide hardware recommendations or processing rate quotes.
To set up, install, and support the services you request.
To send you calls and text messages you have agreed to receive, including informational and marketing messages.
To keep records required for our business and to comply with the law.

Text messages and calls

If you check the consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive automated informational and marketing calls and texts from AltairPOS at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing sales@altairpos.com.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to deliver what you ask for:

With payment processors, hardware manufacturers, and software partners when you choose to apply for or use their products through us.
With service providers who host our website and handle our email and messaging, under obligations to protect your information.
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of AltairPOS, our customers, or others.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing sales@altairpos.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
